Analog to Algorithm: DJing, Curation & the Art of Attention with Brian Rauschenbach and SEATTLE CREATES In-Person

Join SEATTLE CREATES and guest instructors a fun night of exploring DJing!

Local Seattle professionals in the streaming and media space will be onsite to talk about their careers, the profession, how to get involved - and sharing technical knowledge through hands-on experience.

This interactive workshop explores how creative expression and audience-building have evolved—from vinyl turntables to today’s algorithm-driven platforms. Through a live demonstration of DJ technology spanning analog to digital, attendees will learn the fundamentals of DJing, including set curation, reading a room, and blending genres to create a cohesive vibe.

The session will also dive into modern content strategy, breaking down how social media algorithms work, the differences between personal and business accounts, and how to create content that drives meaningful engagement. Attendees will gain practical insights into measuring success, building an audience, and leveraging emerging tools—including AI—to curate experiences both in-person and online.

Whether you're interested in music, marketing, or creative storytelling, this workshop will provide actionable frameworks for building connection and culture in today’s digital landscape.
