Make Shrinky Dink Jewelry! In-Person
Prerequisite: Maker Orientation (Tuesdays or Thursdays 12:30pm-1pm)
Join guest instructor and artist, Trey Young as he leads us through an American classic pasttime, making shrinky dinks!
Celebrate the power of “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” in this creative, hands-on workshop! We’ll focus on Reuse by transforming container lids into stunning, one-of-a-kind earrings. With the help of a Cricut cutter to design and cut your patterns, and a toaster oven to shrink and harden them into Shrinky Dinks (a fun throwback to the ’90s!), you’ll learn how to turn everyday trash into treasure. Join us for an eco-friendly crafting experience that’s as fun as it is inspiring!
Trey Young is a workshop instructor with Lamp Lab and volunteers as a steward at North End Makerspace in Seattle, WA.
