Handmake Pandan Roses!

Handmake Pandan Roses! In-Person

Prerequisite: Maker Orientation (Tuesdays or Thursdays 12:30pm-1pm)

Community - Come join us for a relaxing afternoon learning how to create roses out of pandan leaves.  Pandanus amaryllifolius is a tropical plant in the Pandanus (Screwpine) genus.  Its leaves are very fragrant and provide a distinctive flavour in Southeast Asian cuisines.  Not only are they good to eat, they are also great for adding an organic natural flair to your favorite creations!  These mini roses are ideal for attaching to cards, pins, and accessories.  Bonus project - make a thank you card with your pandan rose using Filipino calligraphy!  All skill levels welcome!

Instructor is Victoria G., a queer Filipino creative expressionist on Duwamish Territory. They enjoy mixed media arts, traditional Filipino arts and calligraphy, decor and design.  Follow them on @Goldentara.bsky.social or @goldentara888 on Youtube.
